The Opportunity
Calling out a .NET Developer for a famous insurance company based in Australia! Our client is a leading insurance group that has been managing workers' insurance and injured workers' compensation claims in Australia for 110 years. Currently, they are looking for a .NET Engineer who has both .NET MVC and .NET Core experience as well as experience working in Agile. You will become a crucial part of an interesting project developing a Web-based insurance claims management system for AU client.
Key Responsibilities
You will report to a SCRUM Certified Team Lead, and work in a small team of Developers and QC Engineers to enhance the current system functionality.
- Developing software using the latest Microsoft Technologies such as C#, .NET, Web API…
- Working on the in-house web application claims management tool – enhancing the functionality for a new insurance partnership and product for the Company
- Researching and identifying root causes of defects and issues
- Following Agile Testing to improve product quality
- Working as part of a team and participating in customer support activities as needed cycle
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of solid experience in .NET MVC and/or .NET Core, Entity Framework
- Experienced working with Web API, SQL/SQL Server and Docker
- Experienced in front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, React, Angular)
- Familiarity working with Kubernetes is an advantage
- Knowledge of RabbitMQ and Kendo UI is a plus
- Experience with AI projects is a plus
- Good English communication skills and experience in Agile methodology
