Responsibilities
- Designing, building and delivering high quality next-generation data architecture to support business reporting and customer dashboards
- Interface with other teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources
- Querying onchain data using analytics applications including but not limited to Dune Analytics and The Graph
- Developing API endpoints and integrating 3rd party APIs (e.g. Defillama, 1inch, Coingecko) for our portfolio dApps
- Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying our architecture
- Participating in code review and writing rigorous test cases to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices in software engineering and DevOps
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or above in a STEM field
- 3+ years of experience working with ETL tools or data pipelines in production environments
- Experience in data analytics, SQL, Python and related libraries and tools (Pandas, NumPy)
- Familiarity with Typescript, Node.js, Next.js, Ethers.js
- Experience building end-user facing data dashboards and using data visualizations to aid user decision making
- Knowledge of current best practices and understanding of trends and technical progression of data analytics
- Familiarity with test driven development and frontend testing frameworks
- Experience working autonomously in cross functional teams on different projects
- Good time management, prioritization, and communication skills
Preferred
- Hands on experience using data analytics tools such as The Graph, Covalent, Quicknode, or Alchemy
- Understanding of DeFi concepts and protocols from an end-user perspective
- Understanding of the full tech stack of a dApp
- Understanding of Solidity, web3.js, BigNumber.js and The Graph (optional but you are expected to pick these up quickly with support from other devs)
