Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Senior Smart Contract Engineer (Payments) - this is a hybrid role in San Francisco, US.

As we prepare for growth with our seed round, backed by industry leaders, our teamβ€”led by co-founders with PhDs in AI, Math, and Computer Scienceβ€”is poised to redefine computing.

This role requires the candidate to reside in the United States. Team members are expected to work in-person in the San Francisco Bay Area at least 75% of the time

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy smart contracts using Solidity, or Rust.
  • Experience drafting or contributing to open EIPs or governance protocol research.
  • Work closely with our engineers, product manager, and Co-Founders to ensure smooth protocol integration.
  • Lead code reviews, audits, and performance optimizations.
  • Experience acting as a mentor to junior developers, leading a team and/or contributing to a collaborative team culture.



Requirements

5+ years of experience in software engineering with expertise in Rust and/or Solidity, with experience in smart contract development.

Experience with public Ethereum or other EVM-based blockchains.

Prior experience leading a team

Experience working with cross-chain messaging protocols and/or bridge integrations.
