Ā What you need:

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in service repair estimating, preferably in the life safety industry.
  • Strong knowledge of life safety systems, including fire sprinklers, fire alarms, backflow assembly, suppression, and security systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all company, local, state, and federal regulations such as Fire Marshals, NFPA 72, ADA, NFPA, building and safety regulations.
  • Highly motivated, organized, and capable of handling adversity in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members, local divisions, and customers.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally for training purposes.
  • Ability to work remotely, if required, and collaborate efficiently with team members in different office locations.
  • Reliable transportation, valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record for approval to drive for company business.

Ā What you will do:

  • Collaborate with local Division teams to clarify and assess deficiency particulars in life safety systems.
  • Estimate inspection deficiencies (cost for installation, estimating, materials, design time, labor hours, and service of systems).
  • Utilize expertise in service repair estimating to accurately quantify the resources required for resolving deficiencies.
  • Act as a liaison between different teams and Divisions to ensure seamless receipt of information & delivery of the quote.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of deficiency-related activities.
  • Gather and analyze data to identify deficiencies and areas requiring improvement.
  • Evaluate system or project performance against established benchmarks and industry standards.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to address identified deficiencies and enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of identified deficiencies, root causes, and proposed solutions.
  • Ensure products, services, or processes meet established quality standards and identify deficiencies in quality control processes of deficiency estimating.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards and identify any deficiencies in meeting those requirements.
