Ā What you need:
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in service repair estimating, preferably in the life safety industry.
- Strong knowledge of life safety systems, including fire sprinklers, fire alarms, backflow assembly, suppression, and security systems.
- Ensure compliance with all company, local, state, and federal regulations such as Fire Marshals, NFPA 72, ADA, NFPA, building and safety regulations.
- Highly motivated, organized, and capable of handling adversity in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members, local divisions, and customers.
- Flexibility to travel occasionally for training purposes.
- Ability to work remotely, if required, and collaborate efficiently with team members in different office locations.
- Reliable transportation, valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record for approval to drive for company business.
Ā What you will do:
- Collaborate with local Division teams to clarify and assess deficiency particulars in life safety systems.
- Estimate inspection deficiencies (cost for installation, estimating, materials, design time, labor hours, and service of systems).
- Utilize expertise in service repair estimating to accurately quantify the resources required for resolving deficiencies.
- Act as a liaison between different teams and Divisions to ensure seamless receipt of information & delivery of the quote.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of deficiency-related activities.
- Gather and analyze data to identify deficiencies and areas requiring improvement.
- Evaluate system or project performance against established benchmarks and industry standards.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to address identified deficiencies and enhance efficiency.
- Maintain detailed documentation of identified deficiencies, root causes, and proposed solutions.
- Ensure products, services, or processes meet established quality standards and identify deficiencies in quality control processes of deficiency estimating.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards and identify any deficiencies in meeting those requirements.
